Our brand new and modern apartment in the Chalet Schlern is located in Siusi allo Sciliar, below Alpe di Siusi and has incredible view to the Dolomites. Our new and modern holiday apartment in the Chalet Schlern is located in Siusi allo Sciliar, below the Alpe di Siusi, with a spectacular view of the mountain scenery of the Dolomites. The apartment, completed in 2021, is located at the foot of mount Sciliar, close to the 'Alpe di Siusi cable car' and is therefore the ideal starting point for winter sports and summer activities on the Alpe di Siusi, the largest high alpine plateau in Europe. The cable car to the Alpe di Siusi can be reached on foot in just 5 minutes (600 m), the centre of Siusi allo Sciliar is about 10 to 15 minutes walking distance (1 km). The hiking trail to the Laghetto di Fiè and the bicycle path run very close (100 m) to our house. Even the bus stop is very close (100 m).
The nearby villages of Fiè allo Sciliar and Castelrotto, whose historical centres are well worth seeing, can be reached via idyllic hiking trails or by bus.
Chalet Schlern is the ideal starting point for excursions to the nearby Val Gardena or to Tires al Catinaccio. The cities of Bolzano, Bressanone and Chiusa are easily reached by bus in about 30 minutes.
The newly built house was constructed with an A-class Klimahaus rating, meaning it is built exclusively from natural materials and equipped with living space ventilation.

Holiday apartment
The apartment is very spacious with 80 m² net living space and accommodates up to 6 people. It is located on the ground floor and consists of a large living room with kitchen, a master bedroom, a bedroom for two, a bathroom, a separate half bathroom and in the underground garage a private storage room for bicycles and skis. The apartment also includes 2 garage parking spaces in the underground garage, from which you can reach the apartment directly by elevator.
The apartment is tastefully furnished with high-quality solid wood furniture. The floor heating, the controlled ventilation and the wooden floors give the apartment a pleasant indoor climate. The apartment has a private garden of approx. 200 sqm, which offers a wonderful view of the village Siusi. The house is located at the foot of mount Sciliar. The Alpe di Siusi cable car can be reached on foot from Chalet Schlern in 5 minutes (0.6 km), or by bus with the bus stop being right in front of the house. A restaurant with pizzeria is located close to the house.

Living room with kitchen: In the living room there is a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, ceramic cooktop, fridge with freezer compartment, hot water kettle, toaster, dishwasher and coffee maker, as well as cooking and eating utensils. Master bedroom: King-size box-spring bed, solid wood furniture in oak, reading chair. Room for two: Bunk bed and wardrobe made of solid oak wood. Bathroom: In the bathroom there is a bathtub, a shower, a toilet, a bidet and a sink, as well as a washing machine. Hairdryer and towels are provided. Half bathroom Underground car park: 2 car parking spaces and direct elevator to the apartment. Private storage room for skis or bicycles Private garden 200 m²: with outdoor barbecue, table, chairs, umbrella and sun loungers General: The price includes heat and electricity, bed linen, baby cot, towels and dish towels, Wi-Fi, TV with SAT.

Winter sports in and around the Alpe di Siusi
Enjoy active winter sports in the midst of the mountains of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The Alpe di Siusi, in South Tyrol, offers a variety of activities for all winter sports enthusiasts. With its 175 km of ski slopes, 80 km of cross-country ski trails, various sled runs and endless hiking trails, the Alpe di Siusi offers all winter sports enthusiasts countless possibilities. Whether it’s skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, sledding, ice skating, touring skis, a leisurely carriage ride or simply going for a walk, there's something waiting for everyone!
The Alpe di Siusi is part of the Dolomiti Superski Arena directly connected to the Val Gardena ski area and continued to the Sellaronda, the most famous ski circuit in the Dolomites.
Ski rental and ski depots are available directly at the bottom and top stations of the Alpe di Siusi cable car.
The Alpe di Siusi is part of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site of the Dolomites and has a 350 km long hiking network, countless via ferratas [climbing routes] and over 1000 kilometres of cycling paths for mountain bike tours. Whether you prefer hiking, mountaineering, climbing, horseback riding, paragliding, mountain biking, horse-drawn carriage rides, tennis, swimming - there are countless possibilities for leisure activities. Hiking trails to Presulen Castle or Hauenstein Ruin pass nearby the house. MTB and e-bike rentals are available directly at the bottom and stop stations of the Alpe di Siusi cable car.
The Laghetto di Fiè, a small, very popular bathing lake at 1000 m above sea level, can be reached by walking, biking, car or bus.
One of the highlights is certainly the 18-hole golf course St. Vigilio, which is located in Siusi, just 1 km away from the apartment.
The prices are per day for up to 2 people and a stay of 7 nights. The appartments can be occupied by up to 6 people.

During your stay the Mobil Card allows you to travel anywhere in Alto Adige using public transportation for free.
Surcharges
For each additional person there is a charge of €25/day. Stays of less than 7 nights for extra charge on request.
Children
Children under 2 years stay for free. A crib is available free of charge upon request.
Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Final Cleaning
The final cleaning costs € 120 all-inclusive.
Local tax
The local tax is € 1.75 /person per night. Children and adolescents under 14 years are exempt from the tax. The local tax is due on departure and will be collected on site.
Deposit
The deposit is 30% of the rental price.
Payment
Payment methods by bank transfer or cash.
General
On the day of arrival your apartment is ready for use from 4 pm and on the day of departure we ask you to leave the apartment by 10 am. The booking becomes binding upon payment of the deposit (booking guarantee) and the sending of the booking confirmation.
Cancellation
The reservation can be cancelled at least 90 days before the arrival date without any cancellation fee. Only the deposit will be retained. Cancellation no later than 30 days before the arrival day: 60% of the total agreed price. Cancellation less than 30 days before the arrival day or no-show must pay the total price. Please inform us in time if you cannot start your vacation. In case of late arrival or early departure we charge the full price.
Leave the Brennero highway A22 at the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit and follow the signs to the Sciliar area to Castelrotto. At the end of the mountain road, turn right in the direction of Siusi. Just drive along the main road through the village. Chalet Schlern is located at the end on the left side at Via Sciliar 55/1.
From the South:
Leave the A22 at the Bolzano Nord exit and follow the signs to Fiè allo Sciliar/Castelrotto/Brennero. Drive along the SP24 in direction Prato Isarco, then turn left to the direction of the Sciliar area. Follow the mountain road for about 15 kilometers. Chalet Schlern is on your right.
